YARN TYPE

The yarn terms vary from location to location. I am usually referring to Australia yarn ply in this blog unless stated otherwise. Here’s a yarn conversion chart (credits to Wool Warehouse) to help you source for an equivalent yarn at your craft stores:

CROCHET TERMS

I am using US crochet terms in this blog. Just to share something I have learnt, if a pattern did not state whether it is using US/UK crochet terms, you can tell by looking out for the ‘sc’ mentions as this is a US term. Here’s a conversion chart for those who prefer to crochet by UK terms (credits to Simply Crochet and DabblesandBabbles):

CROCHET HOOKS

Most times, I am using my Clover hooks (Japanese brand) but I do switch over to my Furls hooks (US brand) every now and then. Here’s the conversion chart (credits to Siona Karen):
