At the moment of life & death, make a wish with a powerful desire. A soft-hearted Creator might grant you that wish.

What’s Goblin? I have covered that in my earlier post. Today, we will learn how to make Poipot (the tiny red guy). He is one of the five friends in the Boglegel family.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 3mm crochet hook
• 8-ply yarn in dark orange/red
• White, red and yellow felt
• Black marker/embroidery thread
• 6mm safety eyes
• Craft glue
• Glass beads/stones (for a weighted feel)
• Polyester stuffing
• Scissors and yarn needle

INSTRUCTIONS:

Head

Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR

Rnd 2: inc around

Rnd 3: (sc, inc) around

Rnd 4: (2sc, inc) around

Rnd 5: (3sc, inc) around

Rnd 6-11: sc around [Note: insert the eyes between rnd 7 and 8, about 4st apart]

Rnd 12: (3sc, dec) around

Rnd 13: (2sc, dec) around, and stuff

Rnd 14: (sc, dec) around

Rnd 15: dec around, and stuff

FO, close gap and weave in ends.

Body

Rnd 1: 7 sc in  MR

Rnd 2: inc around

Rnd 3: (sc, inc) around

Rnd 4-6: sc around, and stuff  [Note: add the beads for a weighted feel]

Rnd 7: (sc, dec) around

FO, and leave a long tail for sewing.

Arms (make two)

Rnd 1: 5sc in MR

Rnd 2-4: sc around

FO, and leave a long tail for sewing.

Legs (make two)

Rnd 1: 6sc in MR

Rnd 2-3: sc around

FO, and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly

Sew all crochet parts together. Weave in all ends.

Cut a long oval strip in the yellow felt.

Cut the shape of its mouth in the white felt.

Cut two rosy cheeks (circles) in the red felt.

Glue the felts in place.

Embroider the eyebrows and mouth using black thread.
